Background: The lessons provided for teachers on the Multicultural Passport site <http://204.98.1.2/passport/index.html> were designed to "help students develop a respect for others and their own identity, were prepared for you during a summer institute sponsored by the Colorado Association of Multicultural Educators (CAME). The project was organized by a Jeffco teacher and held at Stein Elementary in Jefferson County. Nineteen of the twenty-nine educators attending were from Jefferson County.
